Dr. jordan P. Nelson

Dr. Nelson is a Jamestown, NY native. A graduate of Jamestown High School, he went on to study at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with a pre-med concentration. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he began graduate school at D’Youville University in Buffalo, NY where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.

Dr. Nelson has extensive hands-on experience in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of many neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. He completed clinical rotations through Erie County Medical Center, and Hagemann Chiropractic Health Center, which provided him the opportunity to treat a variety of conditions, including herniated/bulging discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, radiculopathy, and headaches/migraines. In addition, Dr. Nelson completed a preceptorship at the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery Center, where he effectively treated and managed an array of complex pre- and post-surgical spinal conditions.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Nelson is a specialist of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. He approaches his patient’s varying health conditions from a whole-body perspective, allowing him to identify the root-cause of their symptoms. He offers a variety of different treatment options to his patients, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible care.

While in school, Dr. Nelson was an active member of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), serving first as the chapter’s treasurer before being elected as the chapter’s president. Dr. Nelson received national recognition from the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) at their annual Leadership Convention in Chicago, IL when he was presented with the Excellence in Leadership award in 2019.

Today, Dr. Nelson remains an active member of the New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA), and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), which is a professional organization and network of practitioners that embody excellence in patient-centered, evidence-based care through collaboration and integration within their healthcare communities.

Dr. Nelson is an active member of the western New York community. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown. Outside of the office, you will most likely find Dr. Nelson on a walk with his dog Enzo, out on the golf course, or boating on Chautauqua Lake.
